The album, out via Hear Music/Concord Music Group, will feature 12 songs that span an array of musical styles, including the Latin-tinged "Christmas In Paradise" and the jazzy "Chanukah Prayer." King's daughter, Louise Goffin, co-wrote original tracks and produced the entire album, which feautres vocal additions from her grandson.

King's holiday set will act as a follow-up to the successful "Live at the Troubadour," a recording of King's 2007 performance with James Taylor at the legendary Los Angeles venue. The live record debuted and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 last May and spent 37 weeks on the chart. The album has sold 606,000 stateside, according to Nielsen SoundScan, making it King's best-selling album since SoundScan began tracking data in 1991.

The announcement of "A Holiday Carole" comes on the heels of more exciting news for the Grammy-winning "Tapestry" songstress; her memoir, "A Natural Woman," is slated for a 2012 release.
